Zynga is at it again. This time around, the company is cashing in on the original Draw Something craze by creating a spin-off. Draw Something 2 is a lot like the original, but slightly different as well. Are you a Draw Something fan? If you are, you will love what this new version has in store.

New Additions

Let's begin with what's new. You will find a lot more drawing tools (kind of essential to Draw Something, don't you think?); a newly developed social feed, so that you can chat with friends who also play the game; and the ability to like a drawing or comment on a drawing that you create.

As you can tell, Zynga is going in a much more social direction with this version of Draw Something. I'm guessing that fans of the game will love what Zynga has come up with this time around. Not only can you comment on a game that you're currently playing, but you can comment on games that your friends are playing, and this creates a whole new gaming experience.

Is Social A Good Direction To Take?

Even though lots of games have a social side to them, will Zynga find success when bringing out Draw Something's social side? Do people really want to be social when drawing? I'm betting that they do, and that seems to be a bet that Zynga is willing to take too.

In case you're not familiar with Draw Something, this game is a lot like Pictionary (remember that game?). You are given something to draw, entered into a game with a group of like-minded gamers, and asked to compete. Whoever creates the best drawing wins the game. Of course, there are time constraints -- and a lot more drawing tools than Pictionary every had!

Where To Find Draw Something 2

Zynga released Draw Something 2 today, and now it's available for iOS. What about Android? Poor Android users always have to wait, right? Well, Zynga claims that game developers are currently working on an Android version of the game, and that version should be available really soon.

When, exactly, will the Android game surface? It's hard to tell, but Zynga certainly won't wait very long to bring Android users the best that Draw Something 2 has to offer. If you're looking for some other Zynga games, however, you may be surprised to learn that the gaming company has effectively cut four of its games in order to develop Draw Something 2.

Four Games No More

The Ville, Empires and Allies, Dream Zoo, and Zynga City are all history as of today. So, you get one new game...and lose four older ones. But, who was really playing those games anyway? Zynga has cut the dead weight in order to bring people more of what they want -- and that means more of the popular Draw Something game! Will you play this game? What's your favorite Zynga game? What do you think about the new features? Sound off!
